The DZO is so happy to be back playing at one of the best Music Rooms in the country! We are proud to welcome back vocalist Olivia Van Goor to perform with us as she tours with her newest recording!

Olivia is really making waves in the vocal Jazz Community. A native of Hudson, OH, she learned how to play piano, sing in choirs, and eventually how to perform as a soloist. The love for music grew as she explored different avenues: choir, rock bands, and musical theatre. However, one outlet stood out against them all: jazz. Through all of her studies, Olivia has also beome a composer and arranger that shows off not only her vocals, but her style and feelings as an all-around musician.

The performing history of the DZO spans over 60 years throughout the tr-state area. In 2020, Band Leader and Musical Director, took over the reigns from Mr. Zola to continue the traditions of the band going by performing the music that made so many bands famous. The DZO strives to authenticate those original tunes that made names like, Miller, Shaw, Goodman, Basie and more the household names that continue to be.

The DZO is happy and proud to work with Miss Van Goor again in 2023. We will be performing some of her arrangements as part of our show that evening. Don't miss this!
